If you were wondering about Barack Obama’s earlier genuflexion in front of Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah, matters came into clearer perspective when our Socialist-in-Chief gave a speech in Cairo. Even the Los Angeles Times, in an article entitled "Did speech reveal his sympathies?", wondered whether Obama is not really a Muslim at heart. (Strangely, the article appeared in the print edition, but I couldn’t find it online. Maybe the Times people were embarrassed that someone who counts might discover it, such as Obama himself.)
One interesting choice of words by Obama was "resistance" when he referred to the "brave Palestinians," who didn’t exist as a nation before Israel, but now somehow, in Euro-Dhimmitudiness, deserve to be a nation alongside the "Israeli homeland," which, by the way, the Jews deserve only because of the horrors of the Holocaust and not by any historical destiny or birthright.
Why didn’t he just tell his audience, "Don’t worry. It’s my goal to turn America into a Muslim nation ruled by Shari’a law"? I guess that would be too open.
Anyway, America has now copied and joined the pusillanimous Europeans, who kowtow in perfect Dhimmitude to the Muslims in their midst–and to those overseas. The next step for us, a la Europe, is to set up a Muslim institute in the U.S., so we can nurture our "mutual interest and mutual respect"–by becoming Muslim like our president. You will love the Dark Ages Part II, folks.
