He’d already made a mockery of the U.S. presidency and the Nobel Peace Prize, but Barack Obama outdid himself when he arrived on a state visit to Japan the other day.
Now, one could almost understand how a Kenyan-Indonesian Muslim masquerading as an American Christian would betray himself by genuflecting in front of Saudi Arabia’s King Abdoullah, but when Barack Obama kowtowed to Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko, he betrayed 230 years of American tradition that holds all people to be equal.
It won’t be long before people will start bowing to King Obama and kissing his ring to plead for blessings when visiting the White House. Oh, but first, they have to pass that amendment thing about royalty in America. It should come sometime after health care reform.
Anyway, even an ur-socialist like FDR had the good sense to drive the King and Queen of England to his Hyde Park manse, where he served them hot dogs without ever bowing. Of course, being in a wheelchair did make genuflexion a bit out of the question. So Obama, I assume, felt constrained to make up for his predecessor’s gaffe.
Over at the American Thinker Web site, C. Edmund Wright (no relationship to Jeremiah, thankfully) offers an amusing but all too accurate assessment of the media and President Obama’s cover-up reaction to what went on at Fort Hood and what it means. Here’s a sample:
From what I can deduce, had his name been Smith it would be much easier for the Diane Sawyers of the Jurassic media to cover up what they fear really went on here. (In perhaps a related story, none of the 9-11 attackers were in the Smith family either.) And what appears to have gone wrong is that a poster child for every wrong headed politically correct liberal program our great military has been forced to accept blew a gasket and took 13 un-armed American soldiers out. Predictably blew a gasket I might add.
If what James Hudnall is writing on Big Hollywood about the new ABC series V is true, then I’m both happy and amazed. Amazed that a show could be so perceptive and get aired and happy because someone actually can see reality for what it is.
Here’s an excerpt:
The parable is, an attractive group of aliens show up, out of the blue, and offer universal health care, advanced technology and world peace in exchange for our trust and devotion. All we have to do is believe everything they say without question. Which means, don’t ask anything about their hidden motives or past associations because that would be racist impolite. In fact, one reporter who is offered an exclusive interview with their leader is admonished not to say anything negative or they would be denied access (Hi, Fox!).
And what do you know, the aliens are really here to eat us. And maybe even take over our car companies and banks. That part is unclear. But I’m sure they will reduce unemployment, because there will be less people looking for work. Oops, I guess “V” has nothing to do with Obama, because he sure isn’t doing well on that front. But anyhoo–
Good stuff. I’ve got to get my hands on a copy of that opening segment.
If you thought what happened to those with differing viewpoints in Pittsburgh during the recent G-20 summit–i.e., peaceful protestors bashed and jailed–then you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
Here comes NORTHCOM!
NORTHCOM is the U.S. Army’s Northern Command, designed as the "on-call federal response force" to subdue "unruly or dangerous individuals" and "help with civil unrest and crowd control." NORTHCOM is gearing up to be a 20,000-soldier-strong command unit that is, as you just read in the quotations, guaranteed to run amok at will–or at the beck and call of its commander-in-chief, our Kenyan, Muslim, Communist president, Barack Obama.
What is that they say about the devil? He wins once everyone quits believing he exists. That’s the apparent strategy of the Obama forces. When they get everyone to quit believing that they’re far-left loons ready to throw out the Constitution and disarm every citizen, then they will succeed in doing just that.
I imagine there will be a few NORTHCOM "crowd control" and "civil unrest" incidents staged to justify throwing out the Second Amendment, and the media will sheepishly carry the message out to the citizenry that "guns gotta go!"
Anyway, NORTHCOM started under Dubya, so one could rightfully say it is designed to serve both far-left and far-right revolutions. NORTHCOM is also against the law. According to the Posse Comitatus act of 1878, federal troops are not allowed to be used as stateside police.
Clearly, as in all matters, Obama could care less about laws and the Constitution. Power is all that he craves, and unfortunately, enough people ceased believing the devil exists to elect him to office. Oh, the day we’ll all regret soon enough.
