Obama Dealt a Weak Hand, So He Bluffs

All credit to Hosanna Obama for assembling an economic team that a) has enough conservatives on it (one maybe) to placate Wall Street and b) enough Big Goverment Lovers on it to segue into socialism once the economy recovers.  Brilliant move.

Thus the economic meltdown not only forces Hossana to go a bit right (where he’s now about two miles instead of 20 left of center) but also provides future fodder for raising taxes through the roof after the national debt balloons to save the economy.  The more he spends, the more he can raise taxes, so look for a short-term spending orgy and long-term serfdom.

Let’s look at just one aspect of Obama’s overall strategy (and I noticed today that he said he would create or "save" 2.5 million jobs, which is another great sleight of hand–even if we lose another two million jobs, he can say, "I saved you from Bush and 2.5-million more job losses!")–and that aspect is medical care.

It was none other than Vladimir Ilyich Lenin who said that "medicine is the lynchpin in the arch of socialism."

What, besides raising taxes, is Obama’s number-one goal?  Gee, I think it’s to nationalize medicine (Bush has already nationalized the banking system for him).

When I was growing up in the 1950s, we would just go to the doctor if we were sick, get a prescription and go home after paying the practitioner a few bucks out of the family pocket.  That system worked because the consumer was in control, but since then Medicare and governmental regulations have stepped in to make medicine a quasi-governmental system.  Pigs (doctors) relying on the federal trough, that type of thing, and thus people are progressively priced out of health care.

Along comes William L. Anderson in "Socialism and Medicine" to set the priorities straight.  Of course, what he proposes will never happen, so wait for the waiting lists and lack of treatment and choice under Obamacare.  If you like to die before your time while waiting for tests, evaluation and treatment, you’ll love this system.  And you’ll die owing huge taxes to the government.  It’s a wonderful life, isn’t it?
